Barley has become increasingly important in recent years: due to excellent tolerance to winter conditions, relatively earlier harvest that arrives around mid-June, a crop that avoids stressful conditions, the safety of selling the mercantile goods on the market and due to its production profitability. High grain yields as well and its excellent quality makes of it an important crop, as well as the possibility of using barley in animal feed.
Axereal brings to the Serbian market the well-known feed barley Etincel and two varieties of brewing barley Prestige and Laureate. High yields are guaranting the safety of farmers in these varieties as well as the possibility of buying contracted malting barley, which is a double safety as a buyer from Axereal. Many years of cooperation with many farmers in Vojvodina confirms the built trust in the production of malting barley.
Malting barley
The organization of matling barley production for the needs of our malting factories in Croatia and Hungary is an indicator of a successful business model in favor of the satisfaction of our producers. The conditions of contracting production for malting barley are known when concluding the contract. Based on the subcontract agreement, we provide our subcontractors with quality seeds, plant protection products, fertilizers and advisory support. A team of agricultural engineers monitors crops during the growing season and gives producers expert advice and instructions from sowing to harvesting barley.
Our goal is to continue the good tradition and create an even stronger partnership, to the satisfaction of all parties involved. We contract the production of malting barley for the needs of our maltsters in Croatia and Hungary.
The barley varieties we contract are PRESTIGE and the new LAUREATE variety.
Winter feed barley
Winter feed barley ETINCEL with good protein content and good nutritional values is the best choice for all cattle farms. ETINCEL is characterized by high grain yield and excellent tolerance to plant diseases.
